Visit to Bob and Tiddle's House

It's not everyday that a cat is invited over for tea and biscuits! (For some reason, people don't fully appreciate the gift of fluff and fur that we leave on their newly upholstered furniture - it's just a sign of love, folks!) However, seeing that the clock is ticking on our time in gorgeous Wales, our kind cat-loving neighbours Linda and Geroge decided to take initiative and have us over, not only for munchies but also to meet their two tabbies, Bob and Tiddles!

The first of the two brofurs to greet us was Bob!

Purr, I'm Bob! Check out my strut!
Can wez be furriends?
He spent a good five minutes claiming ownership over the humans... head butting, rubbing around their legs... I could say that I was a wee bit jealous, but I am ALSO proud to say that I am a cat governed by restraint! Plus, making a scene wouldn't have been very neighbourly like, now would it!

Next to make an entrance was Tiddles, though he wasn't quite as forthcoming. According to George, he shies away from new beans at first, and can be a bit skittish, but once he is thrown into a social situation, he handles himself pretty well!

Tiddles: "Wh...who's the bean with the clicky machine, Bob?"
Bob: "Don't know. Don't care. Love me!"
Hmm, I think I'm going to stay right here on my mamma's lap.
Safety is golden.

It didn't take long for Bob and Tiddles to put their trust in us. Before we knew it...

... Bob was dozing off in extremely compromising positions!

Tiddles, on the other hand, gave us a thorough tour of the household!

"... and here is the entrance. Great shoes for smelling here!"
Dis is my faaaaavourite place to sleep!
The day ended with a quick prowl around the garden for us kitties while the humans stayed inside and chowed down on fresh strawberries, nuts, apples and biscuits.

"Dis way out!"

Do you like the pretty flowers?

Hellloooo...we wants to come back in nowww!
All in all, we had a very pleasant visit! I made some new best furriends, and Heather and her mum got to do...whatever humans do with other humans over tea and biscuits. I am sure they had fun!

What? You is leaving already? Come back again soon!
Note: Thank you to Linda and George for contributing the above picture, and the one of Tiddles in his garden bed!

Bob and Tibbles were a good welcome committee to their home. Furing up the furniture is an art that is not fully appreciated through I want to be number one at it.
