Upcoming Card Series/Taddeo and Ginger's Visit

Lately, Heather's been working on a new card series which she says, to my everlasting indignation, does not feature me as the main character! This secret series is to be released in late October, and will coincide with My Friend Fluffy's first ever Card Contest. She asked for my opinion on her newest design, but feeling a bit shunned, I left the judging to Taddeo. (I've forgiven her now, but the next series better be dedicated completely to moi!)

Hmm, I likez the fact that the hoomans lets his cats sleep on his desk!

She also asked Taddeo's big sisfur Ginger for her two cents, but Ginger seemed more interested in knocking all the knickknacks off of Heather's shelf than judging her artwork. 

What? I didn't do nuffin'!

We'll be talking more about the Card Contest later on in September, but in the meantime, enjoy these other pictures we took during Taddeo and Ginger's Friday afternoon visit!

Heather's Newest Greeting Cards (inspired by 'you know who'!)

Up until the arrival of the brother and the boyfriend, Heather spent all of her free hours working ferociously on a number new greeting cards for Greeting Card Universe. Drawing has always been a passion of hers, but it was only recently that she decided to turn what was once solely a hobby into something lucrative. Seeing that I am the tech-savvy one in the house, she asked moi to post her new designs! She says that you can be as kind or as critical as you want - all comments are valued! (Believe me, I know, I'm her harshest critic!)

Cats Carolling at Christmas (New Card!)

Today, Heather and I got cat chatting about Christmases long and gone. Believe me, I am not willing the approach of the coldest time of the year, but with the 48 degree heat that has been scorching the Canadian landscape, it is easy for the mind to drift to chillier thoughts!

Perhaps one of the fondest memories was of December 1^st – the first day we officially allowed ourselves to start listening to Christmas carols! As a cat, I am not really much of a singer, but the occasional ‘meow’ and ‘purr’ I was always able to contribute!

The idea for these cards sprung from this poignant memory. We’ve made three different versions – we’d love to hear which design you like the best!

Fluffy Buys a Book at the Supermarket (New Card!)

Tonight, Heather completed a new card featuring 'yours truly'! It features me buying attempting to buy a Mouse Catching for Dummies book. As if I would ever do such a thing!
